Fruit whose shape recalls that of the quinces, with hard pulp and a greenyellow colour. When ripe it's very juicy and refreshing, with a slightly acidic fragrance reminiscent of lemons, hence the name of the variety. It's well-adapted to hot periods, satisfying and compensating for the effect of the temperature. Its taste is intense and very particular to the variety. It should be taken mature and cold. |

When mature a shiny yellow colour, with a certain light green tinge. It's excellent to eat fresh and maintains its shape and taste when cooked. Ideal for bottling as preserve. The flesh is hard, juicy, sharp and sweet. Recommended for virtually the whole year. |
