Fruit whose shape recalls that of the quinces, with hard pulp and a greenyellow colour. When ripe it's very juicy and refreshing, with a slightly acidic fragrance reminiscent of lemons, hence the name of the variety. It's well-adapted to hot periods, satisfying and compensating for the effect of the temperature. Its taste is intense and very particular to the variety. It should be taken mature and cold.
